Thank you for sharing. Christmas is a very special time in our home. My four boys love to decorate and listen to Christmas music. Last year, we added a community service project and the boys performed piano selections at Children’s Hospital. This year, we will visit two assisted living homes to read to the residents and perform piano selections. Our goal is to make Christmas about giving instead of receiving.

I look forward to reading more about your homeschool. I enjoy the flexibility of homeschooling, too. And it is amazing what children learn on their own. Sometimes I get frustrated when we don’t complete all the lessons in the plan book, but I have try to remember what my children learn on their own. It is amazing what they will absorb when given time to explore.
